Some Place Else

In the year 2012 I first travelled to Kolkata. Like many other metropolitan cities it is full of traffic, buildings, narrow lanes, dust and polluted air. But then I came across the park called ‘Maidan’. This vast open field was a relief. The next 3 days of my stay in Kolkata I often visited here and photographed the park. The place seemed completely separated from the city. Though it is the core of the city.
