Hydrangea Etc.

Arriving on the Island this time, I noticed the Hydrangea.
Bold and colourful.
Dotted throughout in various shades of white, blue, pink, red and purple, I followed this garden
plant.
It became the simple condition for a journey, a way to rethink a familiar place, and a way to insist on a different criteria of observation.

Linda’s inquisitive nature leads her to create quiet observational works of people, communities and their environments. She finds inspiration in the unexpected beauty of details that are often overlooked, intrigued by the in-between moments and the romance in the raw. Taking an approach that holds fast to the notion that one thing leads to another lends a soft and spontaneous honesty to Linda’s work. Believing little should be forced, she invites chance to every occasion.
