Sean Lemoine utilizes the photographic image to further his attempts to understand the connections people make with the world they inhabit. He often finds himself in the role of the curious spectator that seeks to record something that holds a mysterious importance and the photograph allows more time to observe that which has been recorded. He enjoys turning the spotlight on ordinary people with unusual passions as he develops ideas centered around themes of adventure, exploration, discovery, and community.
