Cody Perkins is a 21 year old photographer and curator based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born and raised in Northern Kentucky, he is currently working on his BFA in Photography at the Art Academy of Cincinnati. His work explores the banal and mundane reflecting on southern and midwestern culture in which he grew up in.

During long drives and sleepless nights Cody Perkins finds the world stopping at night, finding himself in his own anguish. While discovering places of reflection, where others overlook, he begins to overcome his personal afflictions. He creates intimate photographs that bring forth a sense of isolation and contemplation during his journey.
