The work I am making explores my relationship to masculinity as a queer person. I am interested in better understanding the experience I have had as a man and the psychology behind the pre-defined roles manhood. As I continue to make this work, I have better understood the spectrum masculinity exists on and the dangerous and toxic environments – physical and psychological – that are created by a rigid adherence to the quintessential male role.
