Kreshonna Keane

My name is Kreshonna Keane and I am a photographer and creative director based in New York City. Although I was born and raised in the Bronx, I am of Jamaican and Trinidadian descent. I have been freelancing for about 9 years but shooting professionally for the past 3 years. As a black female photographer, my work has grown to take on a larger purpose. My curations take an editorial spin on the life and culture in New York City. I use color and deep rich tones which allow me to be truthful in the way I portray my subjects. I believe it is my responsibility to use my work, through these conceptual projects, to shine a light on and address societal stigmas while celebrating black culture. My hope is to start conversations and leave long-lasting impressions.

Portfolio

The works I am submitting are a wide range of projects I have curated over the past couple of years. These pieces are a collection of editorial concepts, some of which are juxtapositions between my subjects and their environments.
