Michael Lee is an analog portrait photographer based in Portland Oregon. With no serious training, he dove into the world of film photography wanting to capture moments shared with friends and eventually found himself submerged in the art culture of the Pacific Northwest. The continual exploration of photography has kept him interested in fashion, whether it’s styling his own shoots or partnering with local shops like Seven Sisters. He also has combined his love of music and photography to work with bands like ‘Hellogoodbye’, ‘Miniature Tigers’, and ‘Said the Whale’. Surrounded by an eclectic collection of cameras, Michael shoots, develops, and scans his own film, which gives each photo a new layer of texture and character.
