Autumn is almost upon us! To celebrate this wonderful season, we present you the juror of The Curated Fridge Autumn 2019 Show, Allison Kemmerer, Mead Curator of Photography and Senior Curator of Contemporary Art, Addison Gallery of American Art.
Allison received a BA from Boston College and an MA from Boston University. Prior to coming to the Addison Gallery of American Art in 1992, she was Acting Director of the Boston University Art Gallery. With a curatorial focus on photography and contemporary art, she has organized numerous exhibitions for the Addison including: John Goodman: not recent color; Contemplating the View: American Landscape Photographs; Convergence: Anila Quayyum Agha, Lalla Essaydi, Yun-Fei Ji, and Fred Han Chang Liang; Invisible Citings: Elaine Reichek and Jeanne Silverthorne; In Character: Artists’ Role Play in Photography and Video; Reinventing the West: The Photographs of Ansel Adams and Robert Adams; and Secret Games: Wendy Ewald Collaborative Works with Children, 1969–1999.

Again, you have to mail your prints AND email the .jpgs. The curator (if local) will be judging your images by printing quality as well as artistic, and will be installing the show on the fridge. The .jpgs will be used for promoting your work on the website and social media.
If printing is not your selling point or you think that your prints won't make it on time because you live outside the U.S., you can use a printing company (Shutterfly, Mpix etc). They are very affordable, fast and reliable.
